Project Manager I (1839)

Responsibilities
- Effectively manage small/medium project teams’ time and allocate resources to ensure deliverables are completed via the standard PMO Framework. Coordinate and run meetings, publish meeting minutes. Monitor project performance.
- Develop comprehensive project plan to monitor and track progress across projects, and to be shared with others as appropriate.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Provide status reports, change requests, and requirements documentation to ensure smooth project progression.
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
- Conduct project retrospectives and create recommendation reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Escalate issues and conflicts appropriately within and between various project teams.
- Assist the Program Manager with communication and education of project management standards and techniques to the appropriate staff.
- Comply with federal, state and international legal requirements ensuring reports are adhering to legal regulations and protecting the company compliance by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls. Report and escalates compliance violations.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
- Required: 4 years of equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years prior project management experience serving an IT project/department/division.
- Experience in a hybrid environment (both Agile and Waterfall).
- Strong communication and written skills.
- Strong planning/organization skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to influence others.
- Knowledge of industry best practice quality standards.
- Team player and results oriented.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
