Software Engineer, Full Stack
Position Overview
We're looking for Full Stack Developer for our newly formed Competitive Product intelligence team, where you'll bring the user interface to life by enabling our end users to interact with AI-powered insights. You'll build file upload and chat workflows, integrate with backend orchestration APIs, and implement features that surface personalized product recommendations and contextual data.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience building new applications from scratch.
- Design and develop a high-quality chat-based UI using ReactJS and related technologies.
- Drive the design and development of reusable, modular React components.
- Integrate with internal orchestration APIs(FastAPI) and external AI/ML services.
- Handle role specific UI logic and display personalized recommendations and pricing insights.
- Drive performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive UI.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Help define frontend architecture and standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and deployments.
- Collaborate with backend data engineers and data scientists to ensure seamless integration and data flow within the application.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve the application.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field,
- 3+ years as a full stack engineer (React + Node.js or Python).
- Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs, TypeScript, React Query, and component-level state management (Zustand, Context API, etc.).
- Experience with Git-based workflows, authentication flows and with Azure App Services.
- Skilled in API Integration and error handling.
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus
- Familiarity with AI-driven UIs or conversational apps.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or Chakra UI.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and Azure Static Web Apps.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$110,240.00 - $165,360.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
