Job Details As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of mechanical and fire protection projects from inception through completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Project Manager with project scheduling, budgeting, and coordination
- Communicating effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met
- Monitoring project progress and quality to maintain high standards and compliance with safety regulations
- Preparing and reviewing project documentation, reports, and change orders
- Collaborating closely with field and office teams to solve problems and drive project efficiency
- Supporting procurement and resource allocation as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in mechanical contracting or construction project management is highly desirable
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of safety standards and industry regulations
