Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Registration Specialist to join our dynamic team at a leading dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient registrations, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing exceptional service at the front desk. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment for patients and supporting the overall efficiency of our dental office. Must be able to multi-task & handle multiple phone lines. Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the clinic.
• Manage patient registration processes, including collecting necessary information and verifying insurance details.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Assist with medical billing tasks, ensuring that all charges are accurately recorded and submitted.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before processing.
• Coordinate appointments and follow-up communications with patients regarding their visits.
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless operations within the clinic.
• Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient information and scheduling.
• Scanning documents into database daily
• Generating daily referral letters to doctors

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is required.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and medical billing practices is highly desirable.
• Strong front desk experience, demonstrating excellent clerical skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Proficient in office software applications; experience with Dentrix is a plus.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
