Location: Elgin, IL (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No nights or weekends)
Pay Rate: $25–$30/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
Overview
Ace Handyman Services Fox Valley is seeking experienced, multi-skilled Craftsmen and Craftswomen to join our top-rated handyman and renovation team. Backed by the trusted Ace Hardware brand, we provide high-quality repair, maintenance, and remodeling services to homes and businesses across the Fox Valley region.
This role is ideal for seasoned tradespeople who take pride in their work, value professionalism, and want consistent, meaningful work without the stress of running their own business.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of handyman and renovation tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and flooring
- Deliver high-quality workmanship with minimal callbacks
- Communicate clearly with customers and office staff before, during, and after jobs
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and company representation
- Identify additional repair opportunities that add value for customers
- Uphold company standards for professionalism, integrity, and customer service
Requirements
Must Have:
- Must live within the Illinois Fox Valley Region (Crystal Lake to Aurora), Kane County, or Southern McHenry Counties
- Minimum 10+ years of full-time, professional trade experience
- Strong background in construction, remodeling, handyman services, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or similar trades
- Must own a standard set of professional tools
- Must own a clean truck or van
