Design Engineer

We are seeking a Design Engineer to support our client with a variety of exciting drug delivery and medical products, leveraging technology to help advance and transform these solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, industrial designers, researchers, interaction designers, and prototyping experts
• Participate in multi-disciplinary innovation sessions targeted at identifying possible development directions
• Work with senior and principal engineers to investigate concept feasibility using a combination of analytical methods and iterative physical prototyping
• Build and test prototypes to characterize performance
• Translate the output of concept and prototyping efforts into fully realized, detailed designs that are ready for production
• Present technical output and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 2-5 years of professional experience in product development engineering design (consulting or contract experience a plus)
• Familiarity with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Desire to design, build, test, and troubleshoot physical prototypes
• Attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with other disciplines
• Willingness to learn and seek out answers

• Hybrid – 3 days a week in the office

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Range: $35 - $45/hour, depending on experience
• Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401K (after 90 days)
