Quality Engineering Project Manager

CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineering Project Manager position for our client.

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 4 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end quality engineering test programs, ensuring delivery meets scope, quality, cost, and schedule.

• Develop and execute test strategies and plans aligned with project objectives.

• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Oversee and mentor a team of QA/testing resources.

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.

• Maintain alignment between client expectations and test delivery outcomes.

• Foster strong client relationships and act as primary point of contact for quality engineering initiatives.

Experience:

• Proven experience managing QA/testing projects from initiation through delivery.

• Strong background in testing methodologies, technical testing, and project management.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver complex projects.

• Client engagement and business domain knowledge to ensure high-value outcomes.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.

• Relevant certifications (PMP, ISTQB, etc.) a plus.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $107,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
