Job Summary
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse, shop, and field operations through inventory management, logistics coordination, material handling, and equipment support activities. This role works closely with operations leadership to ensure technicians have the tools, parts, and equipment necessary to safely and efficiently support customer operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
Job Description
- Receive, inspect, stock, and track inventory and incoming materials.
- Perform routine inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Monitor inventory levels and submit replenishment requests as needed.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage locations to ensure efficient material retrieval.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and proper documentation of transactions.
- Coordinate shipments, freight movements, and material transfers.
- Deliver parts, equipment, and materials to operational and field locations as required.
- Support procurement activities and vendor coordination.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist with daily operational activities and workflow planning.
- Build, repair, refurbish, inspect, and test equipment as required.
- Support field technicians with equipment preparation and job execution.
- Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for field operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shop environment.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Report safety concerns, incidents, and equipment issues promptly.
- Participate in inspections and corrective action activities.
- Shift: Monday - Friday 40 - 45 hours
S kills Required
- 2–5 years of warehouse, logistics, inventory, or operations experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including inventory and record-keeping systems.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools and equipment preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
- Maintain inventory accuracy of 85% or greater.
- Ensure timely delivery of parts, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Complete required inspections and corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through effective warehouse and logistics coordination.
- Regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work in warehouse, shop, and outdoor environments.
- Safely operate forklifts, material handling equipment, and company vehicles.
- Work in varying environmental conditions while maintaining safety standards
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Pay Rate
- $21 - $23 per hour (Compensation will be offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
