A K-12 school in Joliet, IL is seeking a licensed Social Worker to provide essential services throughout the school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs to promote a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop supportive intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address social and emotional challenges
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students
• Connect families with munity resources and support services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
• Maintain detailed and confidential case records in pliance with school policies and legal requirements

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Social Worker with experience in school settings
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development and mon social/emotional challenges in K-12 students
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with school systems and educational regulations preferred

Duration: Contract position for the full school year (NSY)
