Vendor Disbursements & Reconciliation Specialist

What your day looks like

Based in Red Bud, IL, you’ll be the steady hand that keeps vendor payments accurate and on time. Your morning may start by reviewing incoming invoices, confirming pricing, quantities, and approvals. Midday, you’ll schedule and execute payment runs, then pivot to reconciling vendor statements to resolve any discrepancies. Throughout the day, you’ll partner with Purchasing, Receiving, and the broader Finance team to keep the procure-to-pay process humming—and you’ll field vendor questions with clarity and care.

How you’ll contribute

• Process and validate invoices for accuracy and completeness before posting.
• Maintain vendor records and nurture positive supplier relationships.
• Prepare, schedule, and process timely disbursements.
• Reconcile vendor statements; research and resolve differences.
• Assist with month-end close and related reporting.
• Keep meticulous documentation of all payables activity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support smooth financial operations.
• Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and deliver excellent service.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable or a comparable function.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization and time management in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort working independently and within a team.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles.

• Cost Accounting
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
