HVAC Sales Representative – Performance-Based

Eco Air Pros Heating & Cooling is a fast-growing, family-owned HVAC company serving the Chicagoland area. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced HVAC Sales Representative who can run in-home appointments and close deals on the spot.

This is a performance-based, commission-driven role with a ramp-up structure to support you in your first 60–90 days. If you’re a proven closer who thrives in a high-opportunity environment, this is a strong earning opportunity.

What This Role Really Is

  • You will run qualified in-home appointments (no cold calling)
  • You will work with price-sensitive customers (Facebook, Google, referrals)
  • You will be expected to present options and close same-day when possible

Compensation

  • 100% commission-based with uncapped earning potential
  • Ramp-up pay for the first 60–90 days
  • Monthly & quarterly performance bonuses
  • Weekly inbound leads provided
  • Gas reimbursement gas for all appointments

Strong performers can earn $100K–$200K+

Territory & Travel

  • In-home sales role within ~15 miles of Elmwood Park, IL
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Gas reimbursed for all appointments

Responsibilities

  • Run in-home consultations and assess HVAC systems and comfort needs
  • Present Good / Better / Best options , including financing and rebates
  • Build trust while guiding customers toward a decision
  • Close deals same-day when possible
  • Follow up on open estimates and maintain your pipeline
  • Update CRM with notes and coordinate with install team

What We’re Looking For Required:

  • 2+ years of residential HVAC sales experience
  • Proven track record of closing in-home sales
  • Confident communicator who can handle price objections
  • Self-driven and organized

Preferred:

  • Experience with high-volume or social media-generated leads
  • Strong financing presentation skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Work Style

  • Flexible schedule (evenings/weekends required)
  • Independent and accountable — you control your results
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment

Reality Check

You will:

  • Compete against lower-priced competitors
  • Work with customers getting multiple quotes
  • Be expected to ask for the sale and close on-site

  • Avoid talking about pricing
  • Struggle to ask for commitment
  • Let customers “think about it”
