Subaru Automotive Sales Consultant
Position Overview As a Subaru Automotive Sales Consultant, you are more than a salesperson — you are a trusted guide for customers making an important life decision. This role focuses on education, transparency, and relationship-building while delivering a buying experience that feels comfortable, confident, and memorable. Top performers succeed by combining strong people skills with consistent follow-up, product knowledge, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Core Responsibilities (Subaru Standards)
- Welcome customers and create a friendly, low-pressure environment
- Learn customer needs and lifestyles to recommend the right Subaru model
- Educate customers on Subaru safety, AWD capability, reliability, and technology
- Conduct test drives and explain features clearly and confidently
- Follow Subaru and dealership sales processes with honesty and transparency
- Work with management to structure deals and complete paperwork accurately
- Maintain detailed customer information and follow-up in the CRM
- Deliver a professional, respectful, and customer-first experience
- Support Subaru’s reputation for trust, safety, and long-term ownership
- Proactively follow up with leads via phone, text, and email
- Set and confirm quality appointments that show and close
- Maintain strong closing ratios and customer satisfaction scores
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat and referral business
- Ask for customer reviews and referrals in a natural, professional way
- Stay knowledgeable on Subaru products, safety ratings, and programs
- Manage daily tasks, follow-ups, and pipeline consistently
- Take ownership of personal goals and performance results
- Deliver a 10-out-of-10 experience customers feel confident recommending
- Customer service or sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Relationship-driven and solution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable using CRM and digital communication tools
- Automotive experience helpful, but not required
- Flexible schedule including weekends
