Hydraulics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design full hydraulic systems in Solidworks.

• Interpret drawings and schematics accurately.

• Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) using an ERP system.

• Develop pricing sheets for hydraulic projects.

• Make necessary engineering changes to parts on existing designs (ECOs).

• Coordinate with the production team to implement engineering changes during assembly.

• Communicate effectively with the sales team to work through quotes and customer purchase orders.

Essential Skills

• Experience in industrial hydraulic system design.

• Proficiency in Solidworks (or other 3D CAD packages).

• Ability to read and interpret schematics.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.86/hr.
