· FT36 or PT24

· Shift Differential: $3.00/hour for hours worked between 2:00pm-6:00pm
· Shift Differential: $5.00/hour for hours worked between 6:00pm-6:00am
· Weekend Differential: $1.00 for hours worked on Saturday & Sunday

Job Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) at Sunset Senior Living is responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents. The RN will oversee and coordinate nursing care, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and act as a key resource for residents, families, and staff. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional dedicated to enhancing the well-being and quality of life of our senior community.
Key Responsibilities:- Resident Care : Deliver direct nursing care, including administering medications, managing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assessment : Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, mental, and emotional health, documenting findings and creating care plans.
- Care Planning : Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Medication Management : Oversee the administration of medications, ensuring accuracy, adherence to protocols, and proper documentation.
- Supervision : Lead and mentor LPNs, nursing assistants, and other support staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and facility policies.
- Emergency Response : Provide prompt and effective care in medical emergencies, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and changes in residents' conditions.
- Communication : Facilitate clear and effective communication between residents, families, and the healthcare team, addressing concerns and providing education.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, facility policies, and standards of care.
- Quality Improvement : Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance resident care.
- Education : Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Licensure : Current and valid RN license in the state of Illinois
- Experience : Experience in a senior living, long-term care, or similar healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.
- Skills : Advanced clinical skills, strong leadership and communication abilities, proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
