Job Overview

As a member of our Industrial Automation and Electrification team, the Industry Sales Manager will work directly with customer engineering and buyers to help solve their EMC design challenges. The Industry Sales Manager supports the technical needs from the TE Manufacture Rep Agencies, TE direct Key Account Manager, and Channel sales teams. The role involves setting, developing, and executing the growth strategy by managing the TE Mfg Rep agencies for customers. Responsibilities include developing new opportunities within existing accounts and new customer opportunities for EMC Filter solutions, managing pipeline development, and winning new projects through collaboration with TE Mfg Representatives, Product Managers, Channel Managers, and Key Account Managers.

This is a fully remote position targeting the Western US Region.

Typical Day May Include

  • Promote full TE portfolio EMC solutions for all applications.
  • Drive brand awareness and position TE solutions & capabilities with our customers.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers to drive/increase sales and ensure an exceptional customer experience solving customer challenges.
  • Develop sales opportunities and assist in developing the pipeline for future sales activity through daily interactions with customers.
  • Learn the customer applications and work with customer engineering teams to solve their designs with TE solutions.
  • Learn the key customer’s challenges, needs, requirements, capture their voice so TE can be the solution provider even if that means creating new products or modifications to existing products.
  • Respond professionally to inquiries from customers.
  • Develop and execute on growth strategies to align to account plan(s) for growth to TE.

What Your Background Should Look Like

  • Electrical Engineering degree or another similar engineering or technical degree.
  • 5+ years’ experience in consultative sales role working with OEMs and Distribution Channel partners.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing manufacturing sales representative agencies.
  • 25-50% travel required.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $107,200 - $160,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location).
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.
