Job Description: Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble lithium-ion battery packs, modules, and power-electronics sub-assemblies.

• Perform electrical, functional, and visual inspections on components and finished products.

• Assist with production line installation and workstation setup as needed.

• Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and test equipment such as multimeters and power supplies.

• Identify and report defects, test failures, safety concerns, or process issues.

• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and ESD-controlled work area.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 3+ years of experience in electronics or manufacturing preferred.

• Ability to read basic electrical schematics and assembly instructions.

• Experience with soldering, wiring, ESD controls, and electrical testing preferred.

• Knowledge of lithium-ion battery handling and safety practices is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodridge, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
