We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Lake Bluff, Illinois. In this role, you will provide technical support and solutions to ensure seamless operations for end-users. You will be responsible for addressing a variety of IT challenges and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:• Respond promptly to service desk tickets and resolve technical issues reported by users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including those related to Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365.
• Manage and maintain user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
• Provide guidance and support to users experiencing difficulties with desktop applications and systems.
• Document solutions and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance user experience.
• Perform routine system checks to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Educate users on best practices for utilizing technology resources.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to provide informed recommendations.• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365 applications.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory for user account management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving IT-related issues.
• Ability to handle service desk tickets efficiently and with a customer-focused approach.
• Experience working with desktop and system applications.
• Effective communication skills to assist users and document resolutions.
• Familiarity with basic security practices and system performance monitoring.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
