EHS Specialist QEHS Specialist



Position Overview
The QEHS Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS) standards in the organization. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and programs to promote a safe and environmentally friendly workplace while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with RCRA, OSHA, and EHS regulations.
  • Develop and implement QEHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Monitor and report on QEHS performance metrics and compliance status.
  • Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and preventive measures.
  • Provide support for renewable energy initiatives, particularly in Solar projects, ensuring adherence to QEHS standards.
  • Stay updated on QEHS legislation and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in QEHS roles, with a strong focus on RCRA, OSHA, and EHS compliance.
  • Certifications in OSHA safety, RCRA, or related areas are preferred.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly solar, is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
