Product Manager Recipient

Job Summary:
The Product Manager is a cornerstone of our product success, responsible for shaping and implementing Onbe's Client and Partner product strategies, enabling teams, and delivering maximum value to our customers. Collaborating with current/potential customers and internal teams, you will serve as the authority for your product – setting product vision, guiding products from ideation to implementation, and managing the portfolio through its lifecycle. Your responsibilities include listening to the market and developing compelling business cases, articulating and vetting requirements with stakeholders, working closely with engineering to deliver and ensuring the product’s successful launch, while providing ongoing support to internal teams, beta clients, and sales and account executives.
This role is a hybrid role that will work onsite 2 days per week at our Buffalo Grove, IL location. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position.
Requirements:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Client and Partner related
- Drive innovation by conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies and customer needs.
- Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements and define initiative phases which maximize the balance between value and speed to market.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business priorities and technical feasibility.
- Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal stakeholders, including executives, engineering teams, sales/marketing, and customer support.
- Champion a user-centric approach to product design, working closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize data-driven insights to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize product features.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, staying informed about changes in financial regulations.
- Lead go-to-market and operational readiness activities, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure launched products can be priced, promoted, implemented, and operated smoothly.
- Recommend, negotiate, and manage supply chain partner agreements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the payments or fintech industry.
- Experience with B2B2C and multi-step distribution channels preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products or services.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in an agile development environment and familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of fintech trends, integration partners and regulatory landscape highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $125,000-$135,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of proven experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
