Workplace Policy and Documentation Consultant

LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of one of Chicago's most notable real estate investment firms, seeking a Workplace Policy and Documentation Consultant for a 3-month+ consulting opportunity.

The Workplace Policy and Documentation Consultant will be responsible for the development, standardization, and publication of office management standards for multiple audiences, delivered in both formal documentation and SharePoint formats. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of administrative operations, have proven professional writing skills and be an expert user of Sharepoint.

Workplace Policy and Documentation Consultant Requirements:

• Partner with key stakeholders to gather, organize, and document office management policies and procedures.

• Develop three distinct but aligned guides:

  • Employee Office Guide – outlining day-to-day office use, norms, and expectations

  • Visitor Guide – covering arrival processes, security protocols, amenities, and workplace etiquette

  • Executive Assistant (EA) Guide – defining operational standards, escalation paths, and service expectations

• Translate content into multiple formats, including:

  • Clear, well-structured written documents (Word and PDF)

  • User-friendly SharePoint pages with intuitive navigation and effective version control

• Create templates, page layouts, and naming conventions to support ongoing updates and long-term maintenance.

• Ensure consistency in tone, terminology, and formatting across all materials.

Workplace Policy and Documentation Consultant Experience:

• Demonstrated experience developing and documenting operational or office management policies and procedures.

• Strong ability to gather input from diverse stakeholders and synthesize it into clear, practical, and actionable guidance.

• Hands-on experience creating and publishing content within SharePoint, including modern page design and organization.

• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and purposes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with incomplete, evolving, or ambiguous information.

• Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint functionality.

This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule and requires 2 days per week on-site in downtown Chicago. The pay range for this position is between $30-55/hr. LaSalle Network consultants are eligible for benefits including health, dental, and vision.
