SPF Pickleball is a high-energy, hospitality-driven pickleball venue dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through sport, food, beverage, and private events. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere where community and hospitality come first.
We are seeking enthusiastic, hospitality-focused Servers who are passionate about guest experience and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Position OverviewAs a Server, your primary responsibility is to deliver overwhelming hospitality to our guests and private event clientele. You will play an active role in supporting on-site operations, identifying opportunities for efficiency, and helping elevate the overall guest experience.
This position reports directly to the Hospitality Manager.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional, proactive hospitality to all guests
- Support private events with professionalism and attention to detail
- Assist in on-site operational flow and identify opportunities for efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of guest-facing spaces
- Communicate clearly with management and teammates
- Represent SPF’s brand standards and culture at all times
Servers are eligible for Event Party Server and Team Member shifts.
- Base Rate: $16.60/hour
- Guaranteed Minimum: $19.00/hour
- Tipped position
- Must clock in under separate earning code for these shifts
- Strong hospitality mindset and guest-first attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and private events
- Must obtain and maintain:
- BASSET Certification (on premise)
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification
- Starting Wage: $16.60 - 19/hour guaranteed.
- Weekly pay (direct deposit or physical check)
- Paid Time Off: Up to 40 hours per 12-month period
- Paid Sick Leave: Up to 40 hours per 12-month period (per City of Chicago regulations)
Shifts exceeding 7.5 hours require a 30-minute unpaid break, taken within the first 5 hours of the shift in accordance with Illinois labor guidelines.
