SAP HANA Basis Consultant (BW on HANA, SLT, Migration)

CTG is seeking an experienced SAP HANA Basis Consultant to support a complex SAP environment for our client in Chicago, IL. This role is ideal for a hands-on SAP professional with strong expertise in SAP HANA administration, BW on HANA migrations, SLT configuration, and SAP Basis support within S/4HANA and cloud environments.

Duration: 8 months

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain SAP HANA systems within an enterprise SAP landscape

• Perform BW on HANA migration activities and post-migration support

• Configure and support SAP HANA SLT replication processes

• Execute SAP HANA installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching

• Monitor system health, performance, and availability

• Troubleshoot SAP Basis and HANA-related issues across integrated environments

• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and application teams

• Support backup/recovery processes and disaster recovery planning

• Ensure seamless integration with SAP and third-party systems

Required Skills

• Strong SAP Basis administration experience

• Hands-on SAP HANA installation, configuration, and monitoring expertise

• Experience with BW on HANA migration projects

• Strong knowledge of HANA SLT configuration and replication

• SAP S/4HANA and cloud environment experience preferred

• Knowledge of SAP system architecture and database administration

• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP Basis and SAP HANA experience

• Experience supporting enterprise SAP landscapes

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred

• SAP certifications are a plus

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70.00 to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
