Operations Coordinator
LaSalle Network is hiring an Operations Coordinator for a rapidly growing 3PL in Itasca, IL. This hybrid Operations Coordinator opportunity is built for someone coming directly from a 3PL or freight brokerage environment who understands urgency, accountability and the precision required to move high-value freight.
If you’ve worked a brokerage desk before, you know the pace. You know the pressure. And you know how critical communication is. This Operations Coordinator role sits at the center of it all.
What’s the job?
- Track and update shipment statuses in McLeod TMS
- Maintain consistent phone communication with drivers
- Manage email updates with carriers and customers
- Partner with dispatch and account management to solve delivery issues
- Support high-value freight operations with accuracy and compliance
- Use Excel to log, track and validate shipment data
What’s needed?
- 1+ year of 3PL or freight brokerage experience (required)
- Experience handling high-value freight preferred
- Familiarity with TMS platforms (McLeod a plus)
- Strong communication skills under pressure
- Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment
- Availability: Sun 11AM–8PM, Mon–Thurs 12PM–9PM
