Business Talent Group (BTG) is building a bench of experienced medical leaders in hematology to support early-stage and emerging biotechnology companies on a fractional and interim basis.

These opportunities typically involve providing hands-on medical and development leadership to venture-backed companies during periods of growth, early clinical development, and organizational build-out. Engagements are confidential, project-based, and structured to align with company-specific needs and timelines.

Depending on the engagement, responsibilities may include:

• Providing senior medical and scientific leadership to early-stage hematology programs

• Supporting development of clinical, translational, and medical strategy

• Contributing to early organizational and infrastructure build-out

• Advising on pre-IND and early clinical development planning

• Supporting engagement with key opinion leaders and external advisors

• Assisting with preparation for investor and stakeholder interactions

• Partnering with executive leadership on development readiness and governance

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Chief Medical Officer, Head of Medical, or senior clinical development leader

• Strong background in hematology

• Experience working with early-stage or emerging biotech companies

• Familiarity with pre-IND and early clinical development processes

• Established relationships within the hematology medical community

• Comfortable operating in hands-on, resource-constrained environments

Engagement Structure

• Fractional/interim consulting engagements

• Full-time or part-time commitments (varies by project)

• Project-based and time-limited
