Construction Project Manager / Field Superintendent

Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Construction Project Manager / Field Superintendent to lead projects from mobilization through punch-out across a portfolio of residential, municipal, and institutional work.
This role is ideal for a construction professional who is confident in the field, organized in project execution, and experienced in managing subcontractors, schedules, and client communication across multiple active jobs.
What You’ll Do
- Manage up to 10 active construction projects at one time across various site locations located across Chicagoland
- Lead job site activity and keep subcontractors aligned on schedule, quality, and performance
- Conduct site walks with clients and provide clear progress updates
- Coordinate scheduling, trade sequencing, inspections, deliveries, and project milestones
- Support estimating, scoping, and change order development
- Source, vet, and onboard qualified subcontractors across key trades
- Maintain project documentation including field reports, photos, and updates
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members
- Help keep projects on time, on budget, and moving forward efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of construction experience across residential and commercial, institutional, or public-sector work
- 3+ years managing subcontractors, field crews, or multiple concurrent projects
- Experience with publicly funded work such as DOH, CHA, HUD , or similar agencies strongly preferred
- Established Chicagoland subcontractor network across common construction trades
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and scopes of work
- Strong field judgment, organization, and follow-through
- Professional communication skills and confidence working with clients and stakeholders
- Comfortable in a hybrid role that includes both field leadership and administrative/project management work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, or similar construction management tools is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- $100,000 - $115,000 per year DOE
