You’ll expand your clinical and leadership expertise by working with a wide case variety—neonates to geriatrics, stroke care, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac arrests, and pediatric emergencies. With each shift, you will develop your ability to adapt to new workflows, enhance crisis management skills, and refine interdisciplinary communication and documentation practices.

Schedule Options:
• Days: 0700-1900 or 1100-2300
• Evenings: 1500-0300
• Nights: 1900-0700
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• Schedule released 2 weeks in advance for 4-week periods
• No on-call, flexible start dates, free parking

Qualifications:
• Active Illinois RN license (in good standing)
• 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience (community/acute care)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA required); NIH Stroke preferred
• Proven ED skills including IVs, cardiac rhythm interpretation, foley/NGT placement, ventilator management
• Proficiency in EMR (EPIC preferred)
• Outstanding critical thinking, assessment, and prioritization skills
• Reliable attendance, adaptability, and strong communication skills

• Adhere to established patient safety, quality, and documentation standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support staff
