Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Palatine, IL, providing services for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position is ideal for professionals seeking a maternity leave coverage role from August 19 to November 7, 2025. The position requires onsite presence and offers a structured school environment to apply your clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with speech and language disorders across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student support strategies
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and school personnel
- Ability to work full-time hours onsite during the contract period
