We are seeking a dynamic and talented Human Resources Director to join our leadership team!

In Human Resources Director (HRD) role reporting to the CEO, you will have 24 hour a day/seven day a week responsibility for the Human Resources Departments in a large and busy hospital. This role provides professional level planning, reporting and analysis to support the goals and objectives of the organization; resolves conflicts to protect the organization’s assets; provides expertise and recommendations to support management decisions. The HRD ensures the department is in compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as accrediting and regulatory agencies. Additionally, the role includes oversight of the full-cycle recruitment process, employee relations, HRIS, employee file organization, workers compensation, performance evaluation process, employee benefits and general overall compliance with all other federal, state and regulatory compliance guidelines.

The HR Director plays a key role in helping to build a dynamic employee culture where employees are engaged and find long-term career success.

Qualifications

The ideal HR Director candidate will bring sound management experience and solid HR practices managing all functional areas of human resources. This position requires a willingness to roll up your sleeves to ensure the day-to-day HR operations of the department are fully compliant.

Education: Master in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred. Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field required.

Experience: A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources. A minimum of two years’ experience working in Human Resources within a healthcare setting highly preferred. Must have previous Supervisory or Director-Level experience.

Licensure/Certification: PHR or SPHR preferred
