Franchise Marketing Manager

Job Summary Big Blue Swim School is a fast-growing, mission-driven company that aims to show kids they can do anything by unlocking their full potential in the water. Big Blue has more than 50 open locations providing children’s swim lessons across the U.S., with over 250 additional franchise locations sold. We are seeking a Franchise Marketing Manager to join our team to assist with the successful delivery of marketing campaigns on behalf of corporate and franchise pools around the country. Responsibilities and Duties- Partner with corporate pool leadership and franchisees to support integrated marketing efforts across paid digital, email, SMS, and other channels as needed, with the goal of improving local market performance and ROI.
- Support new location openings by collaborating with cross-functional teams, coaching owners and management on local marketing tactics, forecasting demand, and reporting on marketing performance.
- Support ramping and mature pools with their local marketing efforts, seasonal campaign offers, and new product launches.
- Translate national strategy into scalable local activation playbooks, ensuring alignment between corporate brand standards and local execution.
- Provide strategic guidance to franchisees on local store marketing, community partnerships, and grassroots activation.
- Perform quality assurance testing on customer touchpoints, including emails, landing pages, and digital ads, ensuring content and UX align with individual location goals.
- Partner cross-functionally with brand, operations, and technology teams to align local marketing efforts with broader business goals.
- Collaborate on marketing projects as assigned and be open to ongoing training and change that comes along with a startup environment and evolving franchise owner needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline.
- 3-6 years’ experience in marketing or a related field.
- Strong expertise with marketing technology platforms, including CRM systems and performance reporting dashboards, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and similar programs; familiarity with Outlook, Teams, and project management tools, such as ClickUp and Monday.com.
- Team player who can work with internal and external partners to successfully deliver key marketing objectives in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that informs and builds trust with a variety of different stakeholders.
- Detail oriented, self-starter with the ability to multitask and be agile in a fast-paced environment while working in a semi- or fully remote startup environment.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Franchise experience is strongly preferred.

- The salary for this role may vary significantly based on experience with a common range of $75,000 - $85,000 annual base pay
