Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• BSN completion required

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >30 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Adaptive Workforce Solutions Program - Finger Lakes Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Adaptive Workforce Solutions Program - Finger Lakes Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Must be cross trained for multi units (med/surg, ICU, ER)

Critical Care Experience

Required Credentials: Certifications: AHA or RQI specifically

Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire.

Special Requests: A badge photo for facility ID must be provided for submission.

RTO must be submitted with application for approval. Holiday RTO is not guaranteed.

Must be willing to float at Finger Lakes Health facilities only.

All travelers report to Geneva General Hospital for orientation.

Shift & Scheduling: Holidays and Every Other Weekend Required

On-Call Requirement:** 2 On-Call shifts required per 4-week period

Floating Requirement: Must be able to float between MS/T, Med/Surg, ICU and ED units at both GGH & SSMH locations

7 days maximum time off

2 references from any number of months (Any reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required for submission

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
