1st Shift Shipping Coordinator

Job Description:
Take the next step in your warehouse career! We're hiring motivated contract Shipping Coordinators who are experienced in operating a Stand-up Forklift for our Eaton facility in Highland, IL. This role pays $24.06 per hour and while there is no set end date, it is believed this will be for at least a few months or longer. The Role, Pay, and Schedule This contract position is perfect for a skilled operator looking for a leadership-oriented role. Premium Pay: $24.06 per hour Core Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 03:00 PM Overtime: Overtime may be required based on business needs. As a Shipping Coordinator, you will: Operate Mobile Equipment: Primarily drive a Stand-up Forklift in our distribution area. Coordinate Shipping: Use computers and scanners to read order notes, manage inventory, and prepare shipments. Handle Materials: Move and position parts or boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. Work Independently: Use your basic math and strong communication skills to work effectively both alone and with the team. Safety First: Be trained on and required to wear fall protection. Important Environment & Expectations (Please Read!) Industrial Environment: Please note this is a heavy industrial setting that is loud, can be dusty, and warm. Preferred Skills (A plus, but not required): Previous manufacturing, shipping, or receiving experience.
