Accounting Clerk
Accounting Clerk (3-Month Contract) – Chicago, IL
Staffmax is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a 3-month contract with our Chicago-based client. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior finance professional to sharpen their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
The Role
Manage AP/AR data entry and invoice processing.
Handle account reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and expense reports for customers and clients.
Support month-end/year-end closing and basic payroll tasks.
Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records in an organized and efficient manner.
What You Bring
2 -3 years experience in finance or accounting (preferred).
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Exceptional accuracy and organizational skills.
A diploma or relevant coursework in Accounting/Finance.
