Expected hourly pay range of $29.42 to $32.70, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
This is a hybrid role, working in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (working remotely Monday and Friday)
Primary Purpose of Position
Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, takes dictation, and otherwise relieves non-VP department head of clerical work and minor administrative and business detail. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Provide general office and secretarial support to the Manager or Director, including, typing, transcription, file maintenance, handling inquiries, scheduling meetings and appointments and other office support functions
- Reviews timesheets and reports and enters data into the payroll system.
- Monitor budget activities and analyze trends.
- Participate or handle special projects as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-years administrative work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of PC and mainframe applications, including Windows, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Access, EERS, PCARD, TIME, Passport, PeopleSoft, etc.
- Ability to multi-task and work with teams and independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment, under deadline pressure with external and internal partners at all levels
- Demonstrated administrative, organizing and planning skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of corporate and business unit policies procedures and practices
- Demonstrated business acumen, customer awareness and ability to create value
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, drive accountability and communicate effectively (written & verbal)
Department Training Coordinator includes tracking qualifications and acting as a coordinator for orientation training certification
