Overview
The Account Executive is accountable for expanding existing relationships and delivering high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients through the proactive management of an assigned group of client accounts of moderate to high complexity. This role directly contributes to key business outcomes such as revenue growth, client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing AJG's value to our clients and prospects, achieving operating/margin targets and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
How you'll make an impact
- Independently managing accounts of increasing complexity
- Growing revenue by successfully counseling clients on additional business opportunity via cross-selling & up-selling
- Driving Client Service Cycle (Strategy, Renewals, Open Enrollment)
- Acts as the client lead, driving strategy
- Financial management of client accounts, presenting annual projections, renewals and discussing contribution strategies
- Delivering high quality client service consistent with AJG operational standards and practices, and achieving operational productivity and performance metrics consistently
Further responsibilities include:
- Ability to manage internal team to ensure timely execution of quality client deliverables
- Growing and profitably managing an assigned group of client accounts successfully
- Building relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional ongoing customer care
- Seeking referrals from current client base to solicit new business prospects, and securing existing business and actively driving the sale of additional services
- Supporting the business priorities of Branch Managers
- May offer training, development, and/or supervision to lower-level staff
About You
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years’ client service and/or claims management experience.
- Must hold appropriate licensing as required and be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Proficiency necessary in Microsoft office applications and in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality.
- Previous experience in managing client relationships is essential.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Insurance knowledge.
- Life and Health License, as well as solid financial acumen.

Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
