Customer Service Representative
Position Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service
Representative to support a fast paced manufacturing environment by managing
customer interactions from initial quote through order fulfillment. This role
partners closely with engineering, production, and sales teams while serving as
a key point of contact for customers. The ideal candidate brings technical
aptitude, a customer first mindset, and experience working hands on within a
manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare customer quotes and estimates based
on customer provided conceptual engineering prints
• Enter, manage, and track orders through ERP systems including Epicor and SAP
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to support accurate
quoting and order execution
• Support the evaluation and approval of design changes, specifications, and
drawing releases
• Partner cross functionally with engineering, production, and operations
throughout the product development lifecycle
• Communicate with customers to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure
timely delivery
• Maintain and grow customer relationships through follow up and ongoing
account support
• Assist customers with time sensitive projects in a high volume, deadline
driven environment
• Support multiple products and services while managing changing priorities
Required Qualifications
• 1 to 3 years of experience in customer
service, sales support, or account management
• Prior hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment such as
machinist, technician, or engineering support
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience working with CRM systems
• ERP experience with Epicor and or SAP preferred
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
Work Environment
• Fully on site role
• Team based environment with two additional representatives on site
• Direct collaboration with a remote manager based in Mesa, AZ
Hours : 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00
AM to 5:00 PM

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $66500.00 - $83100.00/yr.
10% quartly bonus for hitting sales goals
Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Libertyville,IL.
