Payroll Accountant

Compensation: $64,000–$87,000 annually

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite weekly

LaSalle Network is hiring a Payroll Accountant for a manufacturing company that has stood the test of time for 115 years. This Payroll Accountant role is ideal for someone who wants more than routine processing — you’ll influence payroll accuracy, support cost accounting initiatives and work directly with a Plant Controller.

As a Payroll Accountant , you’ll play a critical role in compliance, reporting and financial integrity across multiple business units.

What’s the job?

• Own weekly multi-state payroll processing

• Review wage calculations, deductions and garnishments

• Investigate payroll discrepancies and tax inquiries

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts

• Maintain SAP cash postings and banking activity

• Audit expense reports for compliance

• Support product cost roll-ups and KPI reporting

What’s needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience (exempt and non-exempt)

• Strong understanding of wage and hour laws

• General ledger and reconciliation experience

• ADP Workforce Now experience preferred

• SAP exposure a plus

• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
