Job Title: Merchandising Operations Assistant / Product Management Assistant

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440

Pay Rate: $36/hr on W2

Position Summary:

The Merchandising Operations Assistant / Product Management Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Transitions team . This role involves performing essential tasks related to product disposition, including coding, SKU listing, and compliance. The assistant ensures that product transitions are accurately and efficiently executed in accordance with direction from buyers and business processes.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• SKU Maintenance:

  • Ensure Add/Delete forms are complete with proper disposition.

  • Update and maintain disposition information at both brand level (POP Portal) and item level (in PIM) for all SKUs, following buyer direction, including disposition codes and markdowns.

• Operational Support:

  • Provide operational and administrative support with strong attention to detail.

  • Maintain clear communication with operations teams regarding category transitions.

  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and assist in problem-solving.

• Logistics:

  • Initiate RTV/DIF and follow up with brand or buyer for RA numbers.

• Markdown Execution:

  • Execute clearance markdown cadence as directed by the buyer.

Requirements for Consideration:

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative or operational support experience preferred.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Experience with Adobe Analytics, SAP, SAP HANA, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.

• Creative and proactive problem solver.

• Demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

• Highly motivated individual with strong initiative and a positive attitude.

• Strong work ethic and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
