The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND .

Your Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Student - Continuous Improvement Buyer, Hardware/Publications for John Deere Seeding Group located in Moline, Il or Des Moines, IA, you will:

• Perform full buyer roles for Hardware & Publication commodities
• Miscellanous projects and analysis for cost reduction & risk

This position is not available to students on immigration visas

What Skills You Need

• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Supply Management, Engineering, Business (others may apply)
• Microsoft Office, learn quickly, willingness to take initiative
• Ability to work 16-20 hours per week during the academic year
• Ability to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
• Ability to commute to Moline IL or Des Moines, IA on a regular basis year round
