Dishwasher / Kitchen Staff - Senior Living

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Dishwasher / Kitchen Staff member to join our culinary team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and supporting food prep when needed. You’ll help ensure our residents enjoy a safe, enjoyable dining experience every day.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to sanitation standards.

• Deliver meals to residents’ rooms and communicate instructions.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and food service areas.

• Assist with basic food prep or meal setup as requested by the chef or cook.

• Take out trash and recycling and maintain clean floors and workstations.

• Follow proper safety and food handling procedures.

• Help with receiving and storing food and supply deliveries.

• Work cooperatively with kitchen and dining team members to support meal service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food service setting is preferred.

• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.

• Good customer service and communication skills.

• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented.

• Ability to stand, lift, and move for extended periods.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality (a plus).
