Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and expand market share within an assigned region. This role is responsible for developing strategic territory plans, building strong customer relationships, and promoting products within the hard surfaces, quartz, and related industries. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B sales, territory management, and account development.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Territory Management
- Manage and drive overall sales performance within the assigned territory
- Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with company growth objectives
- Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to increase revenue
- Create and manage target account lists, call plans, and sales strategies
- Follow up on leads, referrals, and field-generated opportunities
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance targets
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships through regular client visits and engagement
- Provide product training, education, and technical support to customers and partners
- Respond to customer inquiries including quotes, samples, and project details
- Resolve customer issues effectively while maintaining satisfaction and retention
- Conduct follow-ups, account reviews, and service checks to ensure ongoing success
Brand Development & Merchandising
- Increase brand visibility through displays, merchandising, and point-of-sale materials
- Ensure all samples, marketing collateral, and showroom materials are up to date
- Promote brand awareness within design firms, fabricators, and dealer networks
- Implement promotional campaigns to reduce excess inventory and drive sales
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Gather and analyze competitive and market trends to support strategic decisions
- Maintain accurate CRM data, including pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasts
- Provide regular sales reports, territory updates, and performance insights
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales forecasts as required
Industry Engagement
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions
- Build relationships within industry associations and professional organizations
- Support event setup, customer engagement, and post-event reporting
Compensation & Benefits
- Commission: 1% of total gross product sales (paid quarterly)
- Performance Bonus: 5%-30% of base salary based on annual target achievement

Qualifications
Experience
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in hard surfaces, quartz, or related building materials
- Proven success in territory management, sales growth, and account development
- Experience working with fabricators, kitchen & bath dealers, remodelers, or installers preferred
- Strong ability to execute sales strategies and consistently meet or exceed targets
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong visual acuity including close, distance, and color vision
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
