About the Job

As a Lawn Care Professional, you will perform high-quality lawn care services while representing the strong reputation of Lawn Doctor of Northeast IL and Southeast WI. This is a seasonal full-time position in a fast-paced environment where professionalism, reliability, and strong attendance are essential. You will also have opportunities for advancement as our company continues to grow and expand farther into Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn fertilization, weed control, aeration, overseeding, and related services
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow daily service routes and complete all work on schedule
• Communicate with customers in a respectful, professional manner
• Document services through our mobile system
• Identify and report lawn issues with honesty and integrity
• Maintain clean and organized vehicles and equipment
• Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality
• Contribute positively to our family-oriented, team-focused culture

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills

• Reliable attendance and ability to work full-time seasonally
• Must pass state pesticide safety general standards test
• Willingness to complete training and obtain required certifications

Work Schedule & Expectations

• Seasonal full-time, Monday–Friday
• Occasional Saturdays during peak periods
• Early morning start times required
• Strong emphasis on attendance, punctuality, and professionalism
• Commitment to safe work practices daily

Founded in 2002 as a one-man operation, Lawn Doctor of Northeast IL and Southeast WI has grown into a 25-person team dedicated to providing exceptional lawn care services throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. Our purpose is “To make people proud of their community,” and our niche is delivering green, healthy, weed-free lawns . We continue to expand and are looking for motivated individuals who want to grow within a fast-paced, family-oriented environment.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
