Senior Staff Accountant

LaSalle Network is partnering with a rapidly growing company based in Long Grove, IL that provides innovative technology solutions to businesses across the country. As the company scales, they are expanding their finance team and hiring a Senior Staff Accountant to help drive financial accuracy, process improvement, and strategic reporting.

In this role, you will manage key accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close. You will play a critical role in analyzing financial performance, supporting budgeting efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Senior Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Lead general ledger activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close
• Prepare and analyze internal financial reports, highlighting variances and trends
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning initiatives
• Assist with revenue recognition and ensure alignment with accounting standards
• Collaborate with teams across sales, operations, and HR to provide financial insight
• Help drive improvements in accounting processes and internal controls
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with internal policies

Senior Staff Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Three to five years of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset
• Available to work onsite in Long Grove, IL
• CPA or CPA track is a plus but not required
