Regional Business Development Officer

If so, our Regional Business Development Officer might be a good fit for you.
Role Description:
CAFCU, a full service, nationwide credit union with $600 million in assets is seeking a high-energy, sales-driven professional to join our Business Development team. This role will require a passion for helping improve the financial well-being of others and progressing the credit union movement. You will be acquiring new and building existing relationships through inbound and outbound efforts, in order to create strong partnerships with companies in your territory.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for nurturing relationships with existing sponsor companies which includes the partnership with the organization and their employees.
- Acquiring new partnerships by developing your pipeline through canvassing, attending B2B networking events and building referrals.
- Ensure membership growth, loan growth and member retention within the credit union.
- Serve as a business development consultant to multiple branches within your territory.
Qualifications:
Recommended: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Sales/Marketing or a related field, plus one year related experience OR three years related experience. Financial services experience preferred. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.

- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to plan, present, and execute a territory sales strategy.
- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under pressure.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required. Travel is required, approximately 75% of the time, some evenings and weekends required.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Financial services experience helpful but not required.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
