Medical Equipment Technician
We are seeking a reliable Medical Equipment Technician to ensure the safety and functionality of critical healthcare devices. This role focuses on the high-stakes maintenance of life-support and respiratory equipment, requiring a dedicated professional who values precision and patient safety.
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues and faults with a variety of bio-medical equipment, including life support ventilators and general respiratory equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance checks, repairs, and updates to equipment to ensure they meet all manufacturers' safety and performance standards.
- Verify the functionality of equipment post-service to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of all services, tests, and repairs conducted.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in the biomedical equipment industry to provide the best service.
- Work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of technical and mechanical equipment related to biomedical fields.
- Use strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve equipment faults.
Requirements & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (candidates with a combination of relevant work experience and education will also be considered).
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude specifically for medical devices.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for working with team members and customers.
- High level of reliability and attention to detail in record-keeping
