Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment. This role is located in Carbondale, IL at a hospital facility. Candidates must have nuclear medicine imaging experience; laboratory technologists without nuclear medicine experience will not qualify. Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent imaging education.
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in Illinois as required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years‘ experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
• Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating nuclear imaging equipment (gamma camera, SPECT).
• Experience working in a hospital imaging department.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SPECT/CT systems.
• ARRT(N) or SNMMI certification preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Weekends as required.
