Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled professional is needed to fill the role of Surgical Technologist within a supportive perioperative care team. This contract position requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering top-notch support throughout surgical procedures. Key Qualifications:

• Certification or documented experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT)
• Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist or in a similar role within a perioperative setting
• Thorough knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instruments
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and prioritize patient safety
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)

Schedule/Hours:

• Typical schedule aligns with procedural caseloads; flexibility for day and evening shifts required depending on surgical volume

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, and supplies for diverse surgical procedures
• Scrub in and provide direct support for emergency, elective, and scheduled operations
• Assist nursing staff and surgeons in patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Ensure equipment is functioning and safety protocols are observed at all times
• Safely prepare, transport, and supervise patients within the surgical setting
• Regularly update knowledge and skills related to operating room protocols and advances in surgical care
