COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:

• Cardiac pacemaker or cardioverter/defibrillator insertion, revision, replacement, and removal.
• Conversion of cardiac rhythm.
• Measurement of cardiac rhythm (percutaneous approach).
• Cardiac ablation procedures.
• Watchman device implantation.
• Loop recorder implantation and removal.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Active Illinois license required (IMLC not accepted).
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• DEA: Active DEA Certification required.
• Certifications: ACLS, CSR License.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year.
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional EP procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care for cardiac surgery and structural heart patients.
• Consult with hospitalist and ICU teams for admitted patients.
• Deliver continuous coverage during the anticipated departure of current EP physician.
• Manage telephone call coverage with 30-minute response time.
• Support growing cardiac surgery and structural heart program.
