Job Title: General Laborer

Employee Type: Hourly/Non-Exempt eligible for overtime

Reports to: Project Manager/Project supervisor

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 hour day shift

Location: Caseyville, IL

ILLINI Environmental is in Caseyville, Illinois, and services the entire Midwest region. ILLINI is an EPA Permitted Non-Hazardous Disposal Facility that actively maintains environmental risk management to mitigate exposure to potential liability. We reduce environmental risk and produce new value stream for any product or process by redefining what it means to work with managed material.

Summary

ILLINI is currently seeking highly motivated laborer looking to work for a progressive, fast-growing company. ILLINI has invested in new equipment and technology to ensure our Team members have the best tools available to serve our customers.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Performs tasks associated with processing Non-Hazardous Waste.
• Operates light and heavy equipment including: skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts and pressure washers.
• Wear a respirator as needed.

Skills/Abilities

• Ability to operate light and heavy equipment
• Hazwoper 40 hour certified. (will provide training).
• Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
• Willingness to shave and wear respirator as needed.
• Ability to work well in a team environment critical.

Education and Experience

• Six (6) months of previous labor experience

Physical/Environment Requirements

• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearance, confined spaces and at heights.
