About the Role

The HR Operations Coordinator supports the daily operations of our HR team by helping keep people, systems, processes, and communication organized across multiple locations. This role works closely with management, other departments and employees to support HR / Payroll implementation, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, benefits, timekeeping and employee experience initiatives that help our teams succeed.


Key responsibilities

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain employee records and support internal HR audits and compliance reporting.
  • Assist with HR compliance programs including OSHA, DOT, FMLA, harassment prevention, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development and updating of HR policies, handbooks, SOPs, and documentation.

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Support HRIS administration (BambooHR preferred), including employee data management, reporting and site set-up.
  • Assist with Monday.com workflows and HR project coordination.
  • Generate reports and support internal systems such as RingCentral and HR communications platforms.

Recruiting & Onboarding Coordination

  • Assist with onboarding new hires, documentation collection, and tracking.
  • Coordinate interviews, assist in tracking and setting reminders for candidate communication follow-up, requisition approval tracking and follow-up.

Employee Support & Benefits Administration

  • Provide employees with support regarding HR processes, benefits questions, and general HR inquiries.
  • Assist with benefits enrollments, updates, and employee communications.
  • Support time tracking, PTO management, and attendance monitoring across multiple locations.

HR Coordination & Organizational Support

  • Assist with new acquisition onboarding, employee data collection, and HR system setup.
  • Monitor and manage the ARP HR shared inbox to ensure timely responses and follow-up.
  • Support HR Management with scheduling, communication, and operational coordination across sites.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of recent HR experience (HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or HR Generalist).
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and systems.
  • Experience using HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred).
  • Experience using project / task management platforms (Monday.com highly preferred).
  • Strong verbal / written communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong professional writing skills, consistently using proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization in all communications.

Preferred

  • 5+ years of HR administrative or generalist experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-state HR operations.

Work Environment

  • 100% Remote position
  • Full-time, Non-Exempt
  • Available between the hours of 9am – 6pm Monday through Friday
  • Candidate located in the Central U.S. to support multiple time zones
  • Occasional travel may be required
