Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an engaging opportunity to support K-12 students during a maternity leave assignment from August 19 to November 7, 2025. The role is based onsite in Antioch, IL, within a dynamic school environment dedicated to fostering student communication development and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences to support student needs
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven professional experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
